STUDIO VISION

To shape spaces that reveal themselves slowly. To find richness in materials, light, and the traces of time. To create environments that feel at once composed and deeply lived in. To craft spaces of joy. This is our founding belief.

Fareez Giga Design is a New York City–based architecture and interior design practice guided by the conviction that meaningful spaces emerge through a careful consideration of context, craft, and the ways people inhabit their surroundings. Drawing on thirteen years of experience working alongside Elizabeth Diller as a Senior Associate at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Fareez brings a rigorous approach to design, informed by a deep interest in material expression, precise detailing, and the creation of memorable spatial experiences.

Through a dialogue between architecture, interiors, material storytelling, and bespoke elements, the studio creates layered environments that balance beauty, function, and comfort. Contemporary in expression yet grounded in their histories, these spaces are rich in texture, rooted in craft, and attentive to the lives they support.

Our work inhabits the space between the familiar and the unexpected. We seek environments that feel at once new and deeply rooted—shaped by context, enriched by history, and animated by the lives that unfold within them. Spaces that reveal themselves over time, yet leave a lasting impression from the moment they are encountered.
